	It was 1991, and I got out of the Army (that's me in the middle with school buddies Arnold Tay on my right and Colin Goh on my left) with a buzz-cut and actual muscle definition, both of which I subsequently lost with great enthusiasm. I call this my "paikia" photo (Hokkien for "bad boy"). I went to London to study Law.
