Goodbye, Billy Gates - though you dominated all our lives
It will soon be over now that Judge Jackson has arrived
Gave us all his findings - said you were a monopoly
Performed illegal functions by being nasty as could be

And it seems to me that this time out, Microsoft ain't gonna win
And it's time we all moved Windows to the Recycle Bin
An era's coming to an end with one last breath
But we won't miss your GPFs, or your blue screens of death

The truth is you were good, but you know, you weren't that great
But you got too frightened of Java and Netscape
So you tried to bully - bash your way to some more market share
Problem is you pushed too far - and now you're vaporware.

And it seems to me that this time out, Microsoft ain't gonna win
And it's time you moved aside to let that penguin in
Sure, Linux isn't perfect - but what the hell
I'd rather deal with Open Source, than all those DLLs.

So goodbye, Billy Gates - in the end you reap just what you sow
I guess only Tech Support will be sad to see you go
Goodbye, Billy Gates, from a guy who had to confess
That you drove him from Windows 95 to MacOS
